After flying to an altitude of 39,045 meters (128,100 feet) in a helium-filled balloon, Felix Baumgartner completed an inspirational and extremely brave record breaking jump from the edge of space.

Yet none of this would have been possible without the bright minds and creativity of men and women who helped to engineer and develop the technology around Felix's brave stunt.
